Ramallah – “Jerusalem” dot com – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed this evening, Sunday, the death of the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the State of Palestine, Mukul Arya, inside the embassy headquarters in Ramallah.

The ministry expressed its deep sorrow, loss and pain at the death of Ambassador Arya.

The ministry made it clear that it is in official contacts with the Indian Foreign Ministry to complete arrangements for the transfer of the body of the deceased ambassador to the Republic of India for burial.

She indicated that immediately upon the arrival of the painful news, immediate instructions were issued by President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh, to all security, police and public prosecutors, in addition to the Ministry of Health and Forensic Medicine, to immediately move to the place of residence of the Indian ambassador, to closely examine the death case. And that all parties are fully prepared to do what is required of them in such difficult and emergency circumstances.
