She explained that with regard to the bodies and companies that have business contracts or commercial projects that depend on the use of drones, they must communicate with the General Authority of Civil Aviation to take the exceptions and permits necessary to carry out their businesses and projects during this period in order to avoid any consequences that affect the timing of these projects.
The Ministry of Interior stressed that everyone who operates any flight operations or the practice of any of these activities and the failure to adhere to the instructions issued will present himself to legal accountability in accordance with Article 176 of the Decree of the Federal Law No. 31 of 2021 regarding the Crime and Penal Code, which is punished with imprisonment for a period of no less than sixMonths and no more than five years, and a fine of no less than 100 thousand dirhams, or one of these two penalties, whoever flew over areas of the state region, contrary to the ban issued by the competent authorities.By imprisonment or fine.
