Turkey continues to develop its defense capabilities, in an effort to dispense abroad and to import military needs.
On Friday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the lifting of the Turkish flag on the local domestic vehicle "Anatolia TCG", which is the first homemade aircraft carrier.
The ship is 232 meters long, capable of carrying 27,000 tons of military pieces, and it will be the largest ship for the Turkish navy.
The ship will take place on its first flights and starting tests on March 7, with the official entering the service in December.
Turkey had started working on the ship 5 years ago, specifically on April 17, 2016.
