A researcher at the center based on the study, Aaron Smith, pointed out that "people's anxiety is caused by changes that can long affect their lives and social habits, such as personal privacy, espionage, and the nature of the social relationships that bind them to each other."
When the research sample, which included 1001 adults from the fifty states in America, was asked by telephone about the invention they wished to obtain, nine percent of them answered that they wanted to travel through time, and a similar percentage of them wished to maintain their health and prolong their lives, while six percent of them indicated their desire to Obtaining a flying car, while three percent wanted to have a device such as a phone that transports the human body from one place to another, and one percent of them indicated their desire to have a device that would fly them from one place to another.
